Scrap Council Tax!

Liz Lynne and the Liberal Democrats locally and nationally have campaigned hard to scrap Council Tax.

Council Tax is one of the most unfair taxes of any European country, particularly in its effect on pensioners, yet the other major parties continue to support it.

We want Council Tax replaced with a fairer system, based on ability to pay rather than simplistic and outdated valuations of property.
